This Privacy Policy explains how StyleSense ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our AI-powered personal styling application.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in identity).
- Style profile: preferences you provide during onboarding (gender presentation, style tags, colors, fit, budget).
- Wardrobe & saved looks: items and outfits you create in the app.
- Photos: images you upload for the Virtual Try-On feature and the AI-generated results.
- Usage data: occasions searched, features used, and basic technical logs.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to authenticate you, personalize outfit recommendations, render virtual try-on images, save your history, and improve the product. AI processing is performed via our AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway); prompts and images are sent to the provider only to generate your result.
3. Storage & security
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security so users can only access their own records. Try-on photos are stored in a private storage bucket accessible only through short-lived signed URLs.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (hosting, database, authentication, AI inference).
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your Profile page, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile, style profile, wardrobe, saved looks, and try-on history.
6. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage required to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Children
StyleSense is not intended for users under 13. Do not use the service if you are under this age.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
